    EXPERIENCE


    Research Assistant, University of Florida Geomatics Department: February 2011 – present

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to processing and analysis of data using Microsoft Excel, manipulation of data and images using ArcGIS, processing of hyperspectral imagery using ENVI such as performing atmospheric and geometric corrections, creating image subsets or mosaics, and pixel data extraction, as well as production of project notes and contribution to research papers

                RESEARCH PROJECTS


    • National Science Foundation (NSF) - Develop mathematical models to estimate biophysical parameters of urban and coastal environments using both Hyperion and Landsat Thematic Mapper imagery and publish results
    • St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) - Process a three-year period of hyperspectral CASI imagery and report findings to support ongoing efforts to monitor and map submerged aquatic vegetation in the Lower St. Johns River Basin
